“Somebody said that the body is the temple of soul. Then I thought about our flesh and bones as being here and now in order to praise the spirit. Later I learned that so many people were building armors to live in. Soon they started to praise the body more than everything else, so the almighty human god got silently dethroned and secretly switched to the armor itself. The armor became the cult, the cult of iron, the only international god that is secretly accepted by everyone in a world of containers. I am stepping now into the Temple Of Iron, where all prisoners are locked in by themselves and I am asking myself the wrong question... Again.”

This was not supposed to be a nightmare This was just supposed to be a dream My Dream Look at me how I'm falling Check my pulse - Am I dead? The price of liberty speaks the wanders.... At the end of the rainbow I have lost what I found Am I the mask which I wear Am I you?! Where is my hope? Where is the child of fire? Where is my hope? Please lie to me... This was not supposed to be a nightmare This was just supposed to be a dream My Dream Our Dream My Dream I am stepping this tunnel Made of darkness and nails The palms are screaming for piercing Again and again Lock my mind in a mirror Processed by gods The only exit I see is by unlocking dreams

Since I left the land of the shadows I spend my present in black But near the portal to finite I hadn't seen any light Tell me where do I am and I will walk after you And they heard me, they saw me, they took me Through a white long corridor They told me I am safe now with them But their drift too my air Teach me now how to breathe so I can smell now your pain And we started to countdown the cycles Running at night from our dreams Sometimes their screams were a blessing For an empire of needs Show me what I did wrong so I can sew up my wound Never feel, never see, Never dream to be free As beyond of our gates is just the void sleeping And once awaken, your soul will be eaten. Thirteen angles are painting my drift Among the demons in skin A doubt knocks at the window A dying ideal Tell me where are you now or I will search after you And I lost my hope in this maze Hallow I'm holding the black As they planted all of my senses Like the grain in the sand Teach me now who I am so I can spit out my fate But I have this shadow with me Since back 1982 And we are haunting the rooms of this prison Without no clue I can step on my fear and escape from this hoax But What is beyond this gate? What is beyond me?

The quest is a prisoner's need Among the hostility peaks An inmate is painting a road Using my own blood So many ruins, floating above My head, my silence speaks the echoes for the gone So many places for my mind to hide From all the puzzle pieces of a double game I can't believe my eyes again Is this real? I am flying again?! Damn, i was just dreaming... Why do I feel like an alien in this world? Why do I feel like a midlight scout? Hope was invented as a social companion A tongue for sonic leaks The season of Judas is rising Over the parish of need So many faces Are they all real? How many mask do I need to survive the rename? So many saints preaching from walls The same ancient lessons The sound of dust I can't believe my eyes again Is this real? I am flying again?! Damn, i was just dreaming... Why do I feel like an alien in this world? Why do I feel like a midlight scout?

Let's forget the keys again As dead we mean nothing Let's enjoy the plot of this scene Like the last leaf of autumn As the cold will come again To honor the cycles Let me be the last one seen in Eden I got lost In this paradise Eden got lost in the plan of this prison So the kid left me again As the king of my own cell Where fog is sliced by will As the laws of the bottom When my dream will broke again My shadow will haunt you Where the stars are casting the sea There is none I got lost In this paradise Eden got lost in the plan of this prison I'm having everything In the end my dreams will sing

There was a time when faces were locked in this train When railways of fortune were leaving this shore Do you remember how we were closing the doors When the storm was bringing the fear from the West? A ghost was guarding our selfish dreams in a flame Confession was nothing but a call to the wind Do you remember how we were hiding in smoke When the sun of vanity was burning our crops? That night, my shadow went out To hunt the lurking fear Fear this: The incident speaks about the spinning sear: “Your dream is reaching its end The time is out for you Look out! The dawning will speak about the spinning sear” There was a time when we knew our own path But soon our road got stolen by dust And the traces we left behind hid in the trees A forest for others to see where we died. There was a time when the trees were still breathing Protecting the illegal birds to sing loud their songs But one day the blades came and cut all down And the wood was used as walls for the slaves. That night, my shadow went out To hunt the lurking fear Fear this: The incident speaks about the spinning sear: “Your dream is reaching its end The time is out for you Look out! The dawning will speak about the spinning sear”

The cell around me is dead again Black fumes are holding my soul's bane Reflection drives me still Rejection kills my will How can I make you feel Inquisitive? I am invisible I am blessed within my hell I am invisible For all of you as well I am invisible – an encounter to pray for Light, make me visible, project me on the wall! The guards around me are blind again Their shapes are passing through my self A window points at me Reflection will come for me How can I make you feel Inquisitive? I am invisible I am blessed within my hell I am invisible For all of you as well I am invisible – an encounter to pray for Light, make me visible, project me on the wall!

Who is coming in the darkness with me? Who will drag the curtain after me? The silence will break the space between these stars The fabric of clouds will still produce bars You will bury me in a river of dead flowers My shadow will feed your ever fading hours I was never programmed to be a winner I am free to go, but as the eternal beginner. “I have no idea how long I have been locked in this prison. I have no memories from before. I had no idea about what was outside. I have just one cellmate and its name is Fear. It helped me like a drug against temptation and curiosity. Since the first day, I remember I have been praying. I was praying during cold night. I was praying during daylight. I was praying in twilight, but I was praying to myself. As far as they told me, there was no god above me. But one day my cellmate died and I had my first visit since I have been here. There were two messengers at the window that night. They presented themselves as being the Infinity and the Endless Present and they made all these walls vanish in the blink of an eye.”

about

“In this new chapter the same character from the previous albums returns to the world of humans, but with a different and larger perspective, animated by his experiences and mental transformations,” Chioreanu explains. “The world is nothing but a prison, with virtual walls risen from the controlled collective intellect, where all the prisoners are locked in by themselves. Everyone is free to go and live outside the so-called system, but nobody really wants to leave the cells for the unknown.” It's a concept made of disenchantment and melancholy, and yet the album is more aggressive than BLOODWAY's past material, as well as extremely dark. “In this prison, our character buries his achieved illusions about humanity and rediscovers memories from childhood,” Chioreanu continues; “he is attacked by chimeras, fears imposed by will, but at the same time he reaches illumination by simply accepting reality in it's complete and horribly deceiving splendor. So he realizes that everything is nothing but a matter of perception.”

From the lyrical perspective, “A Fragile Riddle Crypting Clues” is BLOODWAY's most introspective record, one that truly investigates Costin Chioreanu's spirit, as underlined by two intense spoken words recited by Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates) and Mat McNerney (Hexvessel). “I never spoke straight about my personal experiences and personal life the way I am doing now,” he says. “I felt truly free and confident with myself doing this record, and that fueled its specific nature. I think our goal as a band was to bring into this world a very special record, by all means. I am deeply confident that we succeeded.”
